Prepping 2.0 Podcast
In Episode 26, we are joined by the real Dan Morgan, the commander of the gate guards in 299 Days who also makes an appearance in Shelby Gallagher’s upcoming third book. He has experience defending military airfields and was a K9 handler; he gives tips to preppers on security your bug out location and dogs. He lives in Alaska and talks about the unique prepping issues there. In the After Show, we answer Patreon’s questions for Dan and play “Dead or Canadian,” where Dan guesses if minor celebrities are, well, dead or Canadian. The After Show is available to Patreon Supporters who contribute a whopping $2 a month to fund the show. It’s kinda worth it - I mean, dead or Canadian? What’s not to love about that. Oh, and a ton of great prepping information.
In Episode 25, we’re joined by Dee Cooper, a prepper fiction author and creator of The Written Apocalypse, a Facebook group for prepper fiction readers. Hear why prepper fiction is much, much more than just entertaining - it’s key knowledge. In the After Show, available to Patreon supporters, we play “Live or Die” with Dee (hilarious), talk about good people in New England (they exist!), and feminism. Glen does his best Boston accent. Fun stuff.
In Episode 24, we’re joined by Lady Liberty, the spokeswoman for the proposed new State of Liberty, which is eastern Washington splitting off from western Washington. It’s a for-real thing and could very easily happen. We also talk about gerrymandering and the idea of the current 50-state United States breaking up. You don’t hear these kinds of topics anywhere else, so please support the show by becoming a Patreon supporter for as little as $2 a month.
